In the past, we have funded teachers to write curriculum material, to attend conferences and a variety of workshops including the Freedoms Foundation and Colonial Williamsburg. We have also supported classroom events, the purchase of materials including costumes, and student archival research. If requesting Colonial Dames funding to attend a conference, workshop, or seminar, kindly include a brochure or syllabus with your application.

Any middle or senior high school history teacher or support personnel who plan to continue teaching in Washington State is eligible to apply. You may apply for more than one category. Application must be typewritten.
